Challenge: Enhancing Customer Engagement and Reactivation

Get Inspired, a renowned Norwegian e-commerce company specializing in women's clothing and accessories, sought to deepen customer engagement and re-engage inactive customers. Since its founding in 2009, the company has amassed a broad customer base.

However, like many other eCommerce retailers, their challenge lay in maintaining a personal, yet scalable, connection with each of their customers. Moreover, any initiatives launched also needed to deliver a clear ROI by increasing website traffic, engagement, and ultimately, sales.

Solution: Personalized Video Greetings for Customer Birthdays

In partnership with SEEN, Get Inspired launched a personalized birthday greeting campaign tailored to each customer. Utilizing SEEN's technology, Get Inspired was able to send out personalized videos that celebrated customers by their first name, also giving each receiver a personal promotion that could be used in the webshop.

These videos were integrated directly into Get Inspired's website and could be reached through a soft login link from the email, allowing customers to experience a seamless connection to the brand & store.

Results

  • Record-Breaking Engagement: The campaign achieved a Click To Open Rate (CTOR) of 79%, the highest ever for Get Inspired, significantly surpassing the usual range.
  • Revenue Increase: Income per contacted customer increased by 32% when compared to campaigns without video.
  • Customer Reactivation: The birthday campaign successfully reactivated inactive customers, contributing to a broader engagement strategy.
